A panel of leading Indigenous art curators will address issues and ideas around the time period—1960s to 1980s—when The Sonnabend Collection came into being. Specifically, this dialogue will provide an Indigenous perspective of the times. Entry to this talk is included with museum admission or membership.

Paul Chaat Smith is a Comanche author and Curator of Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian. Art Historian and author Dr. Richard William Hill is Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Studies at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Gerald McMaster, adjunct curator at Remai Modern, is an author, artist and professor of Indigenous Visual Culture and Critical Curatorial Studies at OCAD University.
