CBC Radio Ideas Episode Features Excerpts from the New Documentary Celebrating the Arctic Amazon Mural.

Wapatah Centre is excited to announce that the latest episode of CBC Radio Ideas with Nahlah Ayed celebrated the Arctic Amazon Mural by sharing excerpts from the new documentary The Language That Lies Between capturing the amazing collaboration between Inuk artist Niap (Nancy Saunders) and the Shipibo artist Olinda Reshinjabe Silvano.

Part of the partnership between Wapatah Centre for Indigenous Visual Knowledge and the Image Centre at TMU, this large-scale mural artwork titled Paisajes de Nosotros (Landscapes of Us) was curated by Gerald McMaster and created through a collaborative design process between artists Niap and Olinda. The mural is now installed at Kerr Hall on the TMU Campus, at the corner of Gould Street and Nelson Mandela Walk.
